Some might choose that choice because they're afraid of getting hurt. I chose #2 because it goes to show how much the person loves and cares for you, that even if it hurt him/her, he/she'll do anything that makes you happy.

i choose number 2. because even ke knows losing someone hurts, he still let you go. it just shows how much he cares for you. he wasnt just thinking of himself or his happiness. he was also thinking of you. :)
